Here and There
Exhibited at 'Illustrating Mental Health', Illustration Research Symposium 2019, University of Worcester, UK.
These illustrations were influenced by subjects such as phrenology and mindfulness. My aim was to depict emotions in a way that will encourage an empathetic response from the viewer. By using different environmental signifiers to communicate contrasting moods, I am also illustrating our shared understanding of what is a safe, tranquil and desirable location and what is not.
